Red Dragon (2002)

Join Corbin and Allen for their final installement in the Hannibal Lecter Retrospective Series. Red Dragon was the first novel Thomas Harris published, but the film was adapted as Manhunter. This remake of Manhunter journeys back before The Silence of the Lambs and well before Hannibal. Does Red Dragon have enough to satisfy die hard fans appetites one year after the poorly received Hannibal or does the movie fall short of fans expectations? Listen to the review to find out!

Hannibal (2001)

10 years after The Silence of the Lambs, a new crew brought the escaped Lecter back to life on the big screen. Directer Ridley Scott brings a different vision to Lecter and Starling and the story surrounding them. Is Scott's departure from Demme's film enought to satisfy or even excite fans of The Silence of the Lambs? Join Corbin and Allen to see if Hannibal is tasty enough to wet your appetite.

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Five years later Hannibal Lecter got a new face...literally. Thomas Harris had his second novel adapted to the big screen with The Silence of the Lambs. The film sees rookie FBI cadet Clarice Starling replaced by seasoned FBI veteran Will Graham. Brian Cox was replaced with Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal the Cannibal Lecter. A whole new team was brought on to adapt Harris' novel and according to the Academy they made the right choice. Audiences went wild for Hopkins cold yet inviting portrayal and the Academy awarded the film five Oscars in the "big five" categories which has only happened three times. Join Corbin and Allen as they go deep into the psyche of Lecter and Starling's relationship and discuss the film in-depth.

Manhunter (1986)

In 1986 audiences were introduced to Hannibal the Cannibal Lecter (spelled Lecktor for this film). Manhunter is based off author Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon. Harris had a hit on his hands and from this point the 'Hannibal Lecter' series was born. But Lecter did not begin as the well-renowned character that only Anthony Hopkins made famous him five years later. Brian Cox took on the role originally, playing a more loose, humane version of the character. Lecter plays a small but significant role in this film that centers around William Grahm and the 'Tooth Fairy'. Come along with Corbin and Allen on this dark, thrilling adventure to find out if Manhunter is worth pursuing.

Rambo (2008)

20 years after Rambo "graced" the screen with his presence he is back and older than ever (though still quite ripped). But the Veteran still has a chip on his shoulder and he's not in the mood to be doing any good any time soon, especially for a group of Christian missioniaries. Rambo III (1988)

Three years after the massive success of Rambo: First Blood Pt. II Rambo came back to theaters to save the world once again. Instead of returning to Vietnam, Rambo has a change of scenery in the dry, open desert plains of Afghanistan. Was this third Rambo outing enough to bring audiences back to the cinema three years later? Is it still enough to captivate audiences attention to see the world warrior save the day in whatever current political crisis is erupting?
