This entry would become the most profitable and possibly most popular sequel in the series. But is it the best Jurassic Park film? Or the best sequel since the original? The Cloverfield Paradox (2018) | Movie Review
Monday Apr 30, 2018
Monday Apr 30, 2018
Only a few months after the release of 10 Cloverfield Lane, the mysterious God Particle was announced to be the next entry in the Cloverfield franchise. What seemed like a simple job of adapting a spec script like J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot team did with 10 Cloverfield Lane, the task proved much more difficult. Languishing in post-production hell, this untitled Cloverfield movie saw four theatrical release dates come and go. Keeping in fashion with the discrete Cloverfield tradition of surprising fans, the first footage for the movie finally dropped during Super Bowl 52, nearly a year and a half after its announcement...and the even bigger surprise?...it was coming to home theatres that night after the game! Fans were shocked and exhilarated the new Cloverfield movie had finally arrived and actually two months early from its supposed theatrical due date and it was immediately ready to watch!
Does The Cloverfield Paradox live up to the hype? Is it worth the wait? Does this third Cloverfield movie provide something different while keeping in line with its predecessors? Join Corbin and Allen as they discuss the movie to find out!
