Your Guide to The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005)
Thursday Oct 15, 2020
Thursday Oct 15, 2020
C.S. Lewis is regarded not only for his renowned theology, but also for his popular writings. With its beginnings as a children's fantasy book series, The Chronicles of Narnia didn't see it big until Walt Disney got ahold of the rights to make a feature-length movie in the early 2000's. After seeing the success of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, The Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe was sure to hit it big with audiences. But does its success still hold true 15 years after its release?
Subscribe to the podcast because next Monday, Allen, Andrew, Thomas will be reviewing Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005) in full!

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) | Movie Review
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Originally released as a short horror stories aimed at children, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark hasn't surfaced since 1991...until today. With the legendary Guillermo del Toro as producer and writers from the Saw films, this modern version of the nostalgic horror shorts is sure to get a reaction. But the biggest question remains...will it stand out from the crowd? Or go back into dormancy?

Soldier (1998) | Movie Review | The Lost Blade Runner "Side-quel"
Monday Sep 14, 2020
Monday Sep 14, 2020
►Start with Your Guide to Soldier https://mcdn.podbean.com/mf/web/c7azu7/soldier_BGbgws9.mp3
Shortly after the release of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, screenplay writer David Webb Peoples spun off his initial opening for the film into an entire script. The lost Blade Runner "side-quel" (taking place meanwhile in the Blade Runner world) sat dormant for 15 years. In 1998, director Paul W.S. Anderson brought the film to life with the star power of Kurt Russell. Where does this film exactly belong between Scott and Villeneuve's world and why has it been forgotten all these years? Join Corbin and Allen as they review Soldier to find out!
